
Refund Policy

Please read this policy carefully before completing any purchase. By purchasing any service from Prepworks Education ("Prepworks," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client," "Student," or "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy in full.

1. All Sales Are Final
All purchases made through Prepworks Education — including but not limited to strategy calls, essay reviews, personal statement reviews, supplemental essay packages, full application reviews, and any other consulting services or digital products — are non-refundable. All sales are final at the time of purchase.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that no refund will be issued under any circumstances once payment has been processed, regardless of whether services have been partially or fully rendered; partial refunds will not be issued for partially completed services or packages; dissatisfaction with service outcomes, including college admissions decisions made by institutions entirely outside our control, does not constitute grounds for a refund; failure to use purchased services within any applicable timeframe, or failure to submit required materials, does not entitle you to a refund, credit, or extension, except as provided in a separate written agreement; and changes in your personal circumstances (including but not limited to changes in school selection, family circumstances, or scheduling conflicts) do not entitle you to a refund.

This policy exists because our services involve the dedicated time, expertise, and advance preparation of our Partners and team, all of which begin at the time of booking or purchase.

2. Refund Policy for Consulting Calls
2.1 Rescheduling with Adequate Notice
Consulting calls (including strategy sessions and one-on-one advising calls) may be rescheduled at no charge, provided that you notify Prepworks at least 72 hours (3 full calendar days) before the scheduled call time.

To request a reschedule, contact us at hello@prepworkseducation.org with your full name, the date and time of your original appointment, and your requested new date and time (subject to availability).

Rescheduled calls are subject to Partner and scheduling availability. Prepworks does not guarantee that a specific date or time will be available for rescheduling.

2.2 Late Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or reschedule requests received fewer than 72 hours before the scheduled call time will result in automatic forfeiture of the session. No credit, refund, or replacement call will be provided.

2.3 No-Show Policy
A no-show is defined as failing to join the scheduled call within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without having provided prior written notice of cancellation or reschedule. No-shows will be treated as forfeited sessions. No refund, credit, or replacement call will be provided.

2.4 Rescheduling Limits
Each purchased call may be rescheduled a maximum of one (1) time total. Requests for additional reschedules beyond one occurrence are at the sole discretion of Prepworks and are not at all guaranteed.

2.5 Prepworks-Initiated Reschedules
In the event that Prepworks must cancel or reschedule a confirmed call due to Partner unavailability or other circumstances within our control, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and will work with you to schedule a replacement call at no additional cost. Additionally, we will lengthen your call time by a factor of 1.5x the original amount.

In the event that you do not wish to reschedule following a Prepworks-initiated cancellation, we will refund your purchase in full.

3. Written Deliverables
Written deliverables (including essay feedback, line edits, roadmaps, and similar documents) will be delivered within the timeframe specified at the time of purchase. Turnaround times are estimates. In the event of a delay caused by circumstances within our control, we will notify you and provide a revised delivery date. Delays do not entitle you to a refund or service cancellation.

4. Exceptions
Exceptions to this policy may be considered solely at the discretion of Prepworks, and only in cases of documented medical emergency or other serious extenuating circumstances. Exception requests must be submitted in writing to hello@prepworkseducation.org, received within 48 hours of the scheduled service, and accompanied by relevant documentation upon request.

Submitting an exception request does not guarantee approval. The decision of Prepworks on any exception request is final.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, credit card issuer, or payment processor for services that were rendered, made available, or otherwise delivered in accordance with these Terms constitutes a breach of this agreement.

In the event of a chargeback or dispute, Prepworks reserves the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of service delivery to the payment processor; suspend or permanently terminate your access to all Prepworks services; and pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any fees incurred as a result of the chargeback, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Governing Law
This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and is incorporated in full into our Terms of Service.
