About Prepworks

Prepworks Education was founded in May 2023 by two high schoolers in Rochester, NY. We aim to increase learning retention and reinforce skills taught in the classroom for the next generation through our video resources, study guides, and 1-1 help. Prepworks plans to continue developing content for College Board products (AP, SAT, PSAT, etc.) while branching into the college admissions space.

Leadership Team

Prepworks' four-member leadership team is wholly dedicated to your success. Our team members have been offered admission to schools like Stanford University, UPenn's Wharton School, Cornell University, Boston College, and the University of Michigan. They specialize in domains ranging from business to engineering and have collectively taken more than 20 distinct AP courses, including AP Physics C: E&M, AP Calculus BC, AP United States History, AP English Literature, and more.

John Luger

President & Co-Founder

John hails from Rochester, NY and is a senior at Brighton High School. Outside of Prepworks, he runs several clubs at his school and also helped create Brailliance, an affordable Braille reader. He is particularly interested in the intersection of economics and engineering. In his (sadly limited) free time, John enjoys watching The Office and playing bullet chess.

Jonathan Harrow

Vice President

Jonathan will attend Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences as a double major in mathematics and economics following a gap year program this year. He has multifaceted interests including piano, basketball, math, economics, and reading. Jonathan also has diverse teaching experiences ranging from SAT prep to piano lessons.

Darren Lin

Vice President & Co-Founder

Darren is also a senior at Brighton High School. He has run several digital marketing agencies alongside developing a keen interest in finance inspired by his work at his family's restaurant. He aspires to create a large-scale social impact venture and enjoys playing tennis and exploring philosophy. Next year, he'll be at UPenn's Wharton School of Business.

Graham Yu

Chief Financial Officer

Graham is a freshman at Boston College currently double majoring in mathematics and finance. In high school, he played varsity soccer and coached students with disabilities. Graham has conducted research at a laser lab and volunteers as an SAT tutor while not making Prepworks videos.
